Company Position Descriptions
Lead Hand
As a lead hand, you’ll need to first learn the Groff Core Values. You’ll need to be reliable, communicate well and understand that client service and teamwork will determine your success at Groff. Once you prove the ability to excel within our team culture, you will learn how to be a landscape craftsman. If you learn to be an experienced craftsman and leader, you’ll earn the opportunity to be a Project Manager.
Landscape Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you must not only be an experienced craftsman but also a leader. The success of your projects will depend on your ability to communicate with your installation team, operations manager, designer and most importantly our client. There should never be any surprises to our clients. If you can prove the ability to use the Groff Core Values to guide your decision making, you’ll be successful.
Masonry Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you must not only be an experienced craftsman but also a leader. The success of your projects will depend on your ability to communicate with your installation team, operations manager, designer and most importantly our client. There should never be any surprises to our clients. If you can prove the ability to use the Groff Core Values to guide your decision making, you’ll be successful.
Operations Manager
As an Operations Manager at Groff, you transition our projects from design into and through the installation. You are in constant communication with the project manager and the client. This position calls for exceptional knowledge in high-end residential construction, communication, organization and the ability to work with all personality types. With our training program, you’ll excel as a leader and craftsman in any high-end hospitality-based industry. You will be an integral part of the leadership team.
Assistant Designer
As an assistant designer, you’ll need to be reliable, communicate well and understand that client service and teamwork will determine your success. Once you prove the ability to excel within our team culture, you will learn how to be a resort-style landscape designer and hospitality craftsman. We’ll help you sharpen your strengths and improve your weaknesses one project at a time. With effort and focus, you’ll earn the opportunity to be a Groff Lead Designer and a part of the leadership team.
Lead Designer
As a lead designer you are not only an exceptional resort-style design specialist, but you will also be exceptional in sales, leadership, client service and personality management. No matter your experience level, you’ll be expected to use the Groff Core Values to shape every decision and every project.
Director of First Impressions & HR
As a Director of First Impressions & Human Relations Specialist, you’ll need to create 5-star client & employee experiences. You will be the first to speak with prospective clients and employees to help determine we are a good fit for each other. You’ll also need to have skills in bookkeeping and the ability to do personality management, as well as have exceptional communication, organization and time management. You’ll assist the entire Groff leadership team in our mission of constant continual improvement.
