Our design team crafts a goal-oriented action plan using your unique aesthetic, functional and budgetary needs. We are here to listen to what you want, look for what you need and craft a plan that meets your goals. This is what our process looks like:
Initial Enquiry

After contacting Groff, our Director of Human Relations will call you back within 24 business hours. Our goal is to make sure that we’re a good fit for your work. Next we’ll coordinate a phone call between you and our lead designer to learn additional details and setup an initial interview at your home.
Initial Interview & Basic Site Analysis
Payment Required
We will visit your home to listen and learn about your lifestyle and current situation to understand what you want to accomplish. We’ll discuss function, aesthetics and establish the project budget.
Design Phase
Payment Required
We will send you the Groff Design Agreement. Once the agreement is executed and the deposit paid, we’re ready to start planning:
Municipal Research
We will research your property gathering information regarding zoning, bylaws, lot coverage and other municipal regulations.
Site Survey & Base Plan
Next, we’ll visit your property to collect additional information. We do not need you to be present.
Conceptual Design Presentation
We will develop a plan based on all research, site visits and the initial interview. The design team will present the plan to you for your feedback.
Itemized Installation Proposal
Once we have a conceptual design that you love, we’ll be ready to create a detailed and itemized installation proposal. No secrets. No surprises. You’ll know exactly how much each individual design element will cost.
Value Engineering (if necessary)
If the itemized proposal is not within your desired budget, we’ll work with you to decide how to adjust it or break the installation in phases. Once this process is completed, you will be installation ready!

Many people (nearly 50%) have a tough time visualizing design concepts and space. Some clients are more comfortable with reading plans than others. We want you to be excited about your project. Groff’s state-of-the-art technology offers different design options so that you can “see” your project before we begin installation. No surprises. We want you to be comfortable with your final decisions.
